DATTA Australia are delighted to launch the third
National Design & Technologies Week
14-20 October 2019!

This D&T Week, we will be celebrating the engaging and challenging work that schools undertake in our learning area every day.

Design &Technologies Week aims to help you to:

Promote Design & Technologies as a key delivery area of STEAM teaching and learning
Showcase the creative, innovative and challenging work currently taking place in the Design & Technologies learning area
Encourage schools, parents and students to value Design & Technologies related courses and career paths
Engage with the wider community and to forge new perceptions about Design & Technologies
Prepare our students for a future transformed by technological advances

At a time when Design & Technologies education is facing many challenges, as well as significant possibilities, we hope that you will all engage with this initiative. Take this opportunity to plan and deliver an exciting and fun week of Design & Technologies-based activities at your school.

To support you we have created a website filled with ideas for classroom and extra-curricular activities – including makerspaces, competitions, STEM challenges, incursions, and much more.
